Supperclubs are where our chefs get even more creative than usual!
And then we get to share the results…….!
In the weeks before a supperclub word goes out and - given the freedom to play with new tastes, explore unlikely combinations, seek out and order specialist foods …… and then spend hours perfecting a technique which would normally bring the kitchen to a standstill …. where creative twists are encouraged and indulged – our kitchen team builds a creative and yes, slightly competitive head of steam as ideas fly.
Once the ‘winning dishes’ find their way onto the menu, they remain under wraps until the moment you take your place at the table. There’s a collective holding of breath in our teams, as our guests pick up the menus and read. Then come the exclamations, the little gasps, the oooo’s and wows – at this point Omni sounds like an aviary of exotic birds – and we know we’ve hit the spot!
We look forward to these evenings tremendously: there’s a nervous anticipation, knowing that although this evening is the chef’s prerogative – we care very much about providing an evening in which taste takes centre stage and becomes something memorable – and let’s be honest, every event so far has given us such fantastic feedback – we thrive on knowing we’re hitting the spot! Every member of the team is completely versed in the menu and will happily talk you through each dish as it arrives at your table. Next to eating food, we like nothing better than talking about food, so please ask, wonder, express!
