Looking at our bookings diary for larger private groups into 2024, we see we've already a really diverse range of bookings - and that's exciting!
We look forward to welcoming: a training day and a team day, a 94th birthday, christenings, a wedding, a cycling club and a reunion!
The room is yours to transform - we're there to listen, assist, talk through menus and make it all happen with warmth and professionalism.

RESERVATIONS
You can make a reservation using the calendar at the top of this page. If you can’t access your preferred booking date or time, this means that we are fully booked or closed. Please note - you can only book outside tables over the phone. If you would like to make a booking and your party size is larger than 12 people, please email info@omnicafe.co.uk. We also offer private hire on school nights and Sundays. To cancel or amend your reservation please refer to your booking confirmation email for further instructions.

Although we always endeavour to answer your call, we sometimes struggle when the cafe is busy. We recommend calling back during our quieter hours, which is in the mornings and between 3 & 5.
Omni Café is a family-run licensed café situated in leafy Monkseaton, a mile from the beautiful and bracing north east coast. Over the nine years we’ve been open we’ve built a reputation for our warm welcome, our easy ambience and our good-natured, attentive staff - and of course, our food. Our food speaks for itself.
Omni offers a predominantly Vietnamese* menu, although Chef occasionally takes a meander into neighbouring countries when the muse takes her!
Whether it’s our bacon & avocado sarnie for breakfast, a fragrant coconut broth for lunch, or decadent gap-fillers of Vietnamese coffee and moist seasonal cake – once inside (or outside!) and seated, there’s something for everyone.
Evening meals are a challenge: which of the enticing sharing bowls to miss out?! We suggest you just book your table, come hungry and take your time to really savour each dish in turn. Then order another! We completely understand those hungry-eyes moments, when our guests see what’s arriving on neighbouring tables and then just have to order more!
Since we extended into next door, there’s oodles of room for more of the old loveliness – as well as the opportunity to take the new space and make it your own for special celebrations – just enquire.

A reservation for tables Tuesday to Saturday is cancelled very easily – we know life gets in the way sometimes – please refer to your booking confirmation email for further instructions - if you didn't book online please call the cafe.
Supper Clubs...
If you really need to cancel (really need!) Please contact us as soon as you possibly can to let us know: on the day is too late.
Cancellations made before the day will be offered a place at a future Supper Club - although it may not be the next one as we sell out so quickly.
But please try to come... in these strange days your empty table leaves a gap in the café ... and we need you to help us create a warm, convivial evening for all!
