It’s that time again… as we say a fond farewell to Omni OG Luke Pickerill and wish the best of luck to Felix “Big Lix” Macleod, we are once again in the market for a new Sous Chef and Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team!

Knowledge of South East Asian cuisine is attractive to us but not essential - we love to train people… so, as long as you are passionate, have your head screwed on, and you’re willing to learn - we’re good to go!

Believe it or not our kitchen team is made up of sound people who are really hard working and get along very well. So leave your ego at the door, hot heads need not apply!

Who are we?

We’re a South East Asian restaurant based in Monkseaton, Whitley Bay in our ninth year of business! We’ve recently expanded our space by knocking through into the premises next door and doubling our covers in doing so. After recent acclaim from Jay Rayner in The Observer we’re busier than ever! It’s a really exciting time for us and we want to build upon an already strong team (the core of which has been around since opening in 2015) by adding a few enthusiastic bodies to the kitchen. We are incredibly passionate about what we do, refreshing our menus weekly and constantly improving our systems in order to adhere to the highest quality of food and service.
